What About Us

Black Box Entertainment was started to provide light & sound at private, medium to large scale functions in 2008. Over the last 15 years it has grown into a production suite that offers mixing and mastering services, radio, TV, and podcast production, voiceover, and audiobook narration, as well as YouTube, and stream production including: intros, outros, clips, and soundboard  SFX.

HIM

A life long musician and over 15 years mixing. He's a mix engineer, audio editor, commercial and imaging producer, music director, sound designer, and voice actor. His favorite childhood record was Twisted Sister - Stay Hungry. His favorite instruments are snare and bass. He loves sushi and bangers, and has a soft spot for sax and reggae music.

The Engineer

His soft spot for sax comes from his past as a Texas State Division 1 saxophonist where his music education started. Throughout his academic years Mic began practicing recording and mixing with local artists and honing his skills learning the fundamentals of balance.

Completing Full Sail's Recording Arts program in 2006, Mic has added to his credits working with local and national clients on records, podcasts, and live events.

The Voice

Becoming a radio host for a local FM station Mic has had the opportunity to become the official Event Announcer and Music Director at a national comedy franchise, host fundraising and charity events, become a Premiere Presenter for a Massachusetts based audio company, and in-house Emcee for various venues.

Building on his recording and mixing background, Mic's voice is used in radio imaging, audiobook narrations, and both local and national commercial advertising.
